MIKBAITS Sector

On the northern shore, the MIKBAITS sector stretches from Balatonudvari to Ábrahámhegy. This area represents the central basin of Lake Balaton.
Even relatively close to the shore, deeper, mussel-covered spots can be found — which can become crucial if storm warnings force teams to rely solely on casting from the bank.
This section has been the stage for many memorable fights and victories. One unforgettable example is Tibor Tulipán’s 23.6 kg carp caught in Révfülöp, which became the biggest fish of IBCC 2015 — landed in the final moments of the competition.
In 2023, the Nikl & Carp’R’Us 3 team won here in Pálköve with an absolute IBCC record.
