Due to its geographical characteristics, this basin is the area most frequently exposed to storms and storm warnings.
However, teams drawn here are compensated by the fact that countless carp over 20 kg have been caught in this sector — including many true giants exceeding 25 kg.
The sector stretches from Balatongyörök to Balatonberény.
